Gina is the new Executive Director for the Haven of Hope Cancer Foundation. Gina comes to us from a varied background of exercise science, business, and non-profit programming. She has spent the last ten years working with a non-profit for teens, managing different companies, and bringing health and wellness to the general population. Gina is excited to bring the knowledge she gained in these experiences to the Haven of Hope. Her goal is to streamline the efficiency of the foundation so the focus can remain on our mission of reaching out to the cancer community and providing strength for the healing journey.

Laura is the Program Director with Haven of Hope, developing programs relevant for those in our community impacted by a cancer diagnosis. She has over 15 years experience as an Oncology Social Worker, having worked in the hospital Oncology unit, then in the outpatient clinic setting. She has worked with the patients and families of Mid Ohio Oncology/Hematology, now known as The Zangmeister Center, for more than a decade. Laura is committed to providing education and emotional support to those now traveling along this journey and works to ensure that all have access to much needed resources within the community.
Ellen Schofield, MA, CLMC, IYT
Cancer Exercise Specialist

Ellen is a Certified Cancer Exercise Specialist and has over 25 years experience in body work, specializing in issues related to body image. In the past 5 years she has intensified her focus and training to working with cancer survivors. She holds certifications and licenses in Pilates, Integrative Yoga Therapy, Lebed (a therapeutic exercise program designed specifically for those with cancer), and Pink Ribbon Pilates.
Kelley Scott, BA

Kelley brings her public service experience and business administration expertise to the Haven as she pursues grants and other funding sources to support our programs and services. Prior to coming to the Haven, Kelley worked in program management, quality assurance, and grants and special projects with the Ohio Department of Job & Family Services, helping to provide home and community-based health care programs to persons with disabilities. As cancer has impacted several of her family members’ lives, Kelley recognizes the importance of the Haven’s mission, and seeks to find the necessary financial and in-kind support for the Haven of Hope to fulfill it’s mission and purpose.
Eileen Barry

Eileen brings her vast experience providing project and administrative support to the Haven as she coordinates, continues to expand upon, and further develops the Haven Volunteer Program while also assisting in the management of the daily functions of the Haven. Prior to coming to the Haven, Eileen worked in product and project management, process development and delivery, and administration.
